As a graduate in the Diploma of Broadcast Media & Communication from LaSalle College of The Arts, Austen has been equipped with technical skills such as film lighting, set design, directing and producing. He is skilled in post editing softwares such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop

Austen has had the opportunity to work as a freelance onsite luxury retoucher for brands such as Bvlgari, Calvin Klein, Coach and Sandro to name a few since December 2022. This experiences has broaden his interest in events and fashion photography.

Austen also has experience in events and wedding photography, he is keen to tackling new challenges in the photography world to broaden his horizon. He has prior knowledge in film and lighting from his 3 years in LaSalle College Of The Arts where he was enrolled in Diploma in Broadcast Media and has been key production and lighting role within the crew. This has proven useful in helping him get organised during shoots.

In terms of film and videography, his notable roles are as an Assistant Producer on Vasantham’s (Mediacorp) Mangalam vs Vamunjam as well as being a videographer for Tamilnadu 2023.
